What to do and what not to do
If our life is a fruit of our past actions(karmas). Then what about the karmas that we do in the present moment. The moment I feel is indeed in our hands. Here is where comes the role of free will.If our will is strong only then we can muster the courage to stay in the present. The strength of the will can be developed only by observing the true nature of our souls. If I agree with the scriptures(as i got no other way! ) the soul is never created and never destroyed. My interpretation of this is sticking to any activity that is involving the physical senses is bound to bring sorrow and desperation ultimately. This because the body unlike the soul is subject to decay. Then what are the activities that involve the spirit as they are likely to bring eternal peace and contentment?Search for such answers impregnates the mind with a myraid of conflicting thoughts.......Any help from the viewers will be most welcome.

Meditation is the only way as far as I can suggest. Zen says there is nothing like past karma's the only karma is whatever you do, do it in the moment not thinking of past or future. but do not worry if you are not able to do it. Be patient and meditate. If you want, I can suggest you a few meditation techniques, I can also give you some meditation music, and e-books. Life is not serious. So as with meditation. Through meditation you can be more and more in the moment day by day, month by month, year by year, effortlessly.
I agree meditation is the only way through which we can realize ourselves.Of the infinite ways available I am enjoying the hatha yogic technique these days
